Over the years, Unionchimica has consolidated experience and expertise in microbiological analysis and foodstuff technologies, providing valid support to its customers both in carrying out tests and sampling and in the context of specific company technical consultancy.
Unionchimica collaborates with customers to define the self-control plan in relation to risk analysis (HACCP method) and the regulatory needs characteristic of each food sector. We carry out the microbiological analysis indicated in the HACCP plan with a sampling service at the customer's premises and provide support for the interpretation of the analytical results.
Over the years, Unionchimica has developed specific skills in the planning and execution of "shelf life" tests and process validation in the foodstuff sector (sterilizations, pasteurizations, post-lethal treatments). These activities are carried out using microbial strains of health and hygiene interest for the on-site evaluation of the effectiveness of heat treatments.
We carry out Accredia accredited tests and sampling on water, aqueous and non-aqueous matrices for the determination of Legionella. The main customers are companies, communities, condominiums, swimming pools and gyms. Tests are also carried out for private customers.
In our new headquarters in Modena we set up a laboratory with an adjoining loading/unloading area dedicated to carrying out tests on large numbers for customers in the aseptic packaging industry. The location, the organization and the team allow a large number of tests to be performed in a single analytical session, in order to meet the needs of the industry for the commissioning of new plants, scouting and isolation of contaminated microorganisms, sterile production (failure sterile).
